Starting as a child, I felt connected to the world around me, from daddy long legs to worms in the back yard to my collection of rocks. My childhood dog, Little, showed me unconditional love during times I needed it most. I believe she even guided my next dog, Lj, into my life. My first cat Callie, opened my heart even more. They all contributed to deepen my connection with so many animals which allowed me to foster dogs and eventually run a pet grooming business.
With over a decade of experience in the pet grooming world, I’ve seen firsthand how love, patience, and energy can calm even the most anxious pets. My life has always centered around connection, whether it's through relationships, grooming, fostering, or now, offering Reiki. Watching the amount of change that can happen when met with love is astounding.
I feel especially drawn to supporting the aging process, with both humans and animals. I feel a deep purpose when working with those affected by dementia or on hospice. This began after working at a nursing home right after high school and it opened my eyes to the beauty, wisdom, and spiritual depth of aging. In adulthood, I lost two pets within a one month span. Reiki was such a fundamental part of the healing process for both myself and my remaining pets. In the moments of passing, I was able to help them ease them through with support through energy work which was sacred and soul changing to me. It’s an honor to now offer Reiki to all, especially during those tender and transformative times. This is not only for those going through the transition, but those around as well. There is something incredibly meaningful about holding space for those impacted by the closeness of the end of life.
Healing generational trauma has been the part of my healing journey that actually opened my eyes. I believe that doing this type of work pushed me in the direction of Reiki. I have a deeper connection to my spirit guides and myself, which has made all the difference.
These aren’t the only places my soul feels called to help! My heart is open to love and healing those who feel called to ask for it! I would love to work with you!
