Dragonflies and Amber
Reiki Master
Animal Reiki Healer
Beth’s path as a healer began when she was quite young. As a child, her friends, family, and animals naturally came to for comfort and support. As a teenager, after a decade of unsuccessful attempts to provide this comfort and support for her own mother, who struggled with undiagnosed postpartum depression and untreated complex trauma, she made the decision to study to become a therapist. Recognizing the lack of effective mental health care that was provided to her own mother, and others who survived major traumas, Beth decided to begin her journey of learning all about trauma and how it affects us as humans. It was also a way she felt she could begin to truly understand her mother. This was just the beginning of Beth’s journey as a healer.
After losing her mother to her illness at the age of 19, a devastating loss, a fire was ignited within Beth which fueled her passion to help heal those who needed support in moving from surviving to truly thriving. Using her pain to honor her mother, Beth created a safe container for others where healing and growth were possible and where hope could begin to grow.
As a practitioner of mindfulness and meditation, Beth was able to discover her own quiet center, a place where anxiety loosened, a place where grief could be acknowledged without it taking over. Beth has brought these practices into her healing sessions to help others learn how to create a calm body and peaceful mind as well as to transform their stories into meaning and purpose, focusing on what matters most to them and developing regular mindfulness practices to integrate into daily life.
During a particularly challenging part of her life, Beth dove deeper into her own spirituality and was able to have transformative healing sessions with a Reiki Master, who later trained and attuned her to all levels. The attunements opened up her inner power; not power over others, but power within herself. Beth enjoyed everything that Reiki brought into her life. She quickly began practicing, both with humans and animals, another natural step for her as her love for animals has always been strong. Her sixteen pets would agree.
In 2024, following a 23-year career in non-profit mental health, Beth opened her own holistic healing practice. Recognizing that many of her clients could benefit from less traditional counseling, she began offering Reiki healing sessions in her practice as well as mindfulness groups and intuitive counseling. She loves providing Reiki at wellness events, including regular healing nights at the newly opened Kava Bar in Worcester, Root Awakening Kava. In this way, Beth loves to bring Reiki to those who may never otherwise experience it. She gets excited to share her knowledge of Reiki with others who are either looking to practice this ancient art of healing with others or simply want to learn more about it for themselves. Beth is currently studying with a shaman and can only describe this experience as a feeling of “coming home.”
Beth looks forward to being part of your journey of growth, self-love, and sharing the light you discover within yourself with the world!
